It is that time of year when flowers are growing everywhere, which is the perfect excuse to take out my macro lens and snap a few colorful photos in my garden. This particular rosemary flower did not come up as I expected. However, using overlays of wood textures, I was able to create this beautiful image. I am quite happy with the result and hope you enjoy it as well. As you may already know, rosemary is as tasty as it is beautiful. It has been used in Mediterranean cuisine for thousands of years. If you have the opportunity, try it on a focaccia, roast meat, or with any other recipe—it is a delicious spice. via 500px marcgc http://ift.tt/1Q4Ajsc

Graphite.
A macro close up of a pencil. Took this by reversing my 18-55mm lens with the focal length set at 50mm. My Indian friends, this is the good old Nataraj 621. :D via 500px udaybsharmaster http://ift.tt/1Gnwlq2
